Section 1: FAQWho are we? YVSBD refers to the Soap Box Derby Race which started in 2001 in Steamboat Springs, CO and moved 22 miles to the west in 2008 to Hayden, CO. What we race? Super Stock and Super Kids are our primary categories; however growth into Stock and Masters is expected in upcoming years. Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, with Sunday designated as rain date, racers speed down almost two tenths of a mile on Crandall Avenue in Hayden, CO. Click here to see the track. What do I win? Our winner travels to Akron OH and races their Derby Car at the All-American Race for a chance to win scholarships and other great prizes. How to get there? Click here for directions to Hayden. Section 2: Registration and Car OrderingRegistration: A complete registration form is available that can be filled in and saved on your computer (the form requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can get here). By May 1st return the completed registration and the $30 fee. You may either email the completed form as an attachment; or sign the form and fax to 970-871-8993; or sign the form and mail it.
